Home Made Caramel Popcorn

This couldn't get any easier!


You Will Need...

Popping Corn!
125g Butter
3/4 Cups of White sugar
2 tablespoons of Honey
Optional (1 cup of chopped pecans)


This Is How You Do It...

  1. You can either use a pop corn machine like I did, or buy the plain microwave popcorn OR google how to make pop corn from the cool old oil and pot way!

  2. To make your caramel combine butter, sugar and honey in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for 5 to 7 minutes or until sugar has dissolved. Bring mixture to the boil. Boil, uncovered, without stirring, for 5 to 8 minutes or until light golden.Even though it looks nice DON'T lick the spoon like I did... bad things happen!

  3. Remove from heat. Stir in pecans. Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and stir until popcorn is coated. Spread over prepared tray. Set aside to cool. Break into pieces. Serve.

And that's about it really!
